Recent change to fuel nozzle. Now has attached metal cap and grounding clip that can both damage wing paint if not very careful.

This is a nice little airstrip, which has reasonable priced fuel. There are a few things that could be done pretty inexpensively to make it a better fuel stop. The hose does not have a swivel on the nozzle and you have to fight the hose in order to get the nozzle into the filler neck on your airplane without doing damage. The retractable ground wire doesn't lock and it has quite a bit of spring tension so no matter how you try to clip it on your plane it will pull off and retract.

Easy in & out self-service fueling during a cross-country jaunt. Nothing fancy but good prices and a tiny but cool FBO lounge/restroom. Didn't see anyone on either stop, has a lonely feel but hey, it's Gila Bend AZ!
