Used to be reasonably priced access to PUBLICLY FUNDED infrastructure. Now it's a clear representation of how capitalism fails into oligarchy when municipalities grant monopolies on backhanded deals. The publicly financed infrastructure here is now claimed by private interests and can charge YOU whatever fees they want. Fail.

Single engine piston: two (2) nights $92.76 (including sales tax, parking fee itself $20/night), no fuel. Service was right on, with marshaling to tie down and tied down with chocks.

Stopped in for less than 15 minutes to pick up 1 passenger in a Falcon 50 and paid a ramp fee of over $700. Beware of the high ramp fees.

I had an interesting experience: I called to ask how much the fees for a bonanza for a few hours are. They refused to tell me without me telling them my tail number. Said it's to see if there are discounts for me. I did not want to divulge my personal information unless I was going to go. But they REFUSED to tell me the fees. That was very displeasing

Arrived with reservation, line crew prepared, prompt and efficient. Car was waiting and FBO staff was courteous and helpful. Definitely a great experience and flying the emerald coast @1, 000 provided breathtaking views. Be ready for multiple approach freqs within five miles and be sure to check Eglin airspace requirements prior to flight, I am happy that I did, safe travels!

It is a beach destination airport, so you pay for it. Even so, the counter ladies were first rate. We took an Uber from the airport to the Henderson Beach Resort. (Ubers are fairly cheap here -- $10 or so per ride.) For us, Eglin let/encouraged subtly to cancel IFR and go VFR in order to cut across the restricted. No reason to be intimidated by the gates. Destin ATC (shout out to Brian) was great! You can tell that they love aviation.

Since Atlantic took over from Lynx: New made up security fee of $20 per night that was never charged by Lynx, but for some reason is now mandatory. Overnight for a single has gone from $15 to $20. Handling fee is now $4 unless you buy $15 gallons of $7.59/gallon gas. New concession fee of $4. Why? Because we have no competition and if you want to go to the beach here, you will pay it. For the fees, I expected to be pulled up front or at least untied. Called in fuel order and it was serviced.

The line crew and desk service at Destin are very good. No cards and it was only a mile to the hotel I was going to walk and they insisted on giving me a ride. Just really friendly and helpful like you would want. I will stop here again.
