Shannon Airport (KEZF) of Fredericksburg, Virginia is one of the most historic general aviation airports in the country. Our terminal is newly renovated and refurbished and includes restrooms, a pilot planning room with public computers, and free wireless Internet. The airport sits adjacent to Slaughter Pen Farm, a historic battlefield with walking trails. The Shannon Air Museum is open on the field and has one of the rarest collections of aircraft in the world on display. The collection includes the only Vultee V1A in the world and other rare, Golden Age era aircraft, as well as many artifacts from Eastern Airlines, of which Sidney Shannon Sr, and Eddie Rickenbacker were original founders.
There's lots to see and experience in and around Fredericksburg, VA and Spotsylvania County, "The Crossroads of the Civil War."
While you're here, if your aircraft needs servicing, the Shannon Aircraft Service Center provides a complete range of full aircraft maintenance services.
Be sure to grab a bite to eat at the Robin's Nest Cafe, also located on the field. The Robins Nest Cafe' serves coffee, sandwiches, salads, Hershey's ice cream, old fashion milkshakes and the best Cuban sandwich north of Havana. Pilot supplies, oil, apparel, and toys for kids are sold in the Pilot Shop.
We hope you come and visit Shannon Airport, The Robin's Nest Cafe' & Pilot Shop, Shannon Air Museum 501(c)3, and Shannon Aircraft Service Center, located in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Awesome airport. Self-service fuel is easy to use, the museum is wonderful and the food is great. Next door to the airfield is part of the Fredericksburg Battlefield with a walking trail to interpret the events from December of 1862. Would stop again for more than just gas.

Nice little airport with very nice terminal, cafe, and museum. Robin's Nest Cafe is a solid lunch spot with all kinds of sandwiches. Good fuel prices to boot.
