Recently was based for a week out of Amador / Jackson during a Jational fly-in for the Cessna Pilots Society. Airport manager Dave was a terrific ambassador for the Airport and the community. He saw to it that everyone was made to feel welcome and comfortable. When our attendance swelled beyond expectations Dave went on an hunt and came up with additional chairs so that we could enjoy the afternoons grading arrivals up under the shade trees. He is a good source for local intelligence and is a pilot himself. Kudos to the people that saw fit to have him as their first face representative for the County. Well done. Excellent easy in and out self serve fuel with proper rolling ladders for those of us flying high wing aircraft. Well kept grounds and the airport itself is nestled in a beautiful area. Very picturesque.
