I flew in on a Sunday AM to the Piper Museum and went to church! "Common Places Church" meets on the 3rd floor at 10AM. (Free coffee) There is aircraft parking out front. Friendly people. Now I won't miss a good flying day, just because it's Sunday.

Stopped with my Wittman Tailwind for an overnight camping trip on our way back to KLSE. Great folks at the FBO and very hospitable. Nice country and the Piper Museum was also great. Met some nice folks who are based there. Definitely recommend a stop.

Pretty good FBO, but as others note, they'll drive you into town and pick you up if needed. Great personal service! The town is cute and walkable with some solid restaurants. (Went to Odd Fellas - high praise from the burger-eater and vegetarian.) The Piper Museum is surprisingly extensive, with lots of planes, interesting history, engineering background, and a simulator. Didn't get to stay long enough (racing darkness!) and now have to make another stop here to finish the tour.

Hi All! Had a great time flying into Piper Memorial! First, it's a beautiful area, tucked along the river between a pair of ridge lines. Nice airport, quieter then you would think. Good folks at the FBO! We parked right at the Piper Museum, so a short walk to the door. Thank you Mr. Edward for the personal tour! He was awesome, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions! Great history of the man and the product line. Nice gift shop with some cool stuff! Thanks again Ed, we had a great time!
