Excellent airport and FBO. Landed there for fuel on September 8 2024 during a long cross-country. The staff was very polite and friendly. Very easy to navigate right to fuel pumps. Parker Johnson was especially helpful, treated my little single-engine piston as if it was the most important airplane on the field (Give this guy a raise!). I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

We flew in to enjoy Mt. Airy for the day. If you aren't aware this is the town Andy Griffith's Mayberry was based on. They were very attentive and happy to give us a loaner car to drive into town. We enjoyed our time downtown and on taking off to go home had an emergency, which had us back on the ramp in a matter of minutes. Again we were given a car while we waited for our daughter to pick us up to get home. The plane sat on the ramp for almost two weeks waiting on parts. No charge and when going back to fix the plane once again treated very well. Also good prices on fuel. Highly recommended.

Diverted here for weather (and cheap fuel) and landed a little bit after hours. Called the number on the door and not only was I given the door code for restroom access, but the manager drove back out to the airport to give me the courtesy car keys so I could grab dinner. Met a couple of local pilots while I was there, everybody was super friendly.

We flew into MWK for fuel and breakfast this Sunday morning. The price on the fuel was reasonable and the 2 gentlemen guided us around the construction and fueled us carefully. We were able to use a crew car, went to the Rusty Rooster Southern Breakfast only 15 minutes away from the airport. The food was great and the airport service was exceptional! We will return again very soon to patronize this FBO. Thank you.

I landed here at the end of a long day, and it was a good place to stop. Self serve gas pumps worked well, and they put the airplane in a hangar for the night for $25, which I think, is very reasonable. They have three courtesy cars and I took one to get to the hotel for the night. Good airport.
