Fuel price this week has been $6/gal self serve so don't know why the update was incorrect. Atlantic staff is awesome as usual! Only problem is getting transportation from Rifle Airport to wherever. I have a home locally and the Atlantic staff drove me home in the courtesy car. It's hard sometimes to get ahold of Valley Taxi unless planned well in advance and no Uber. Rental cars used to be very reasonable but are now very expensive, prohibitively so. Wonderful airport and wide open space makes it easy to get into to land.

Nice FBO, but services in town very limited or expensive. Cheapest basic rental car quote from Go rentals was 389.46 for 18 hours! No taxi, Uber or Lyft. Basically it is impossible for non- jet aircraft to use this as an overnight fuel stop. Had to go to Grand Junction, which has more services and no ramp fees.

Staff pleasant as always and jumped out to position our bird, only the second on the ramp on an overcast day, but the FBO's fleet of vehicles had been cut, only one crew car already in use by the other visitors, so quick lunch was canceled.
