Flew in for a recent 1/2-day visit in town. Airport was kind of sleepy that Saturday morning, but Ponderosa opened at 8am. Located mid-field, I parked in transient and walked to their office to place a fuel order and pick up a courtesy vehicle they had kindly made available. You need a vehicle if you are going into town, as it is 15 minutes away. Uber-ing is not an option here. I returned a few hours later to a fueled plane and I was so grateful for the use of their car I left it with a full tank for the next guy. Nice people, quiet facility that day.
