3 of us Gyroplane pilots stopped here for fuel and for breakfast. We had stopped here just over a year ago on our way home looking for a place to stay. This year, we were on our way down south. This is a very well maintained airport, beautiful FBO, and reasonable self serve gas. One of the best things is The Landing diner on the second floor. The gentleman and lady who run it are wonderful, and our breakfast was delicious. We really loved our waitress, who was SO FUN!! We will plan to stop here to eat anytime we are passing through the area.

Very nice airport, new FBO. Gas pumps are a little hard to find and are to the left of the terminal. They have a restaurant on the second floor that is open on limited days and hours, but was closed when we came through. On our way back through, we were disappointed that they would not find a small space in all their large hangers to fit in 2 gyroplanes when severe weather was coming. As a result, they lost out on restaurant, fuel, hangar rent and hotel income, which we spent in Guntersville, which moved things around and made space for us.
