Called to check on feasibility of flying in to Hawthorn to connect at LAX. The collection of fees charged by the FBO to access our airport added up to over $500, plus the high cost of fuel. Ramp fee, facility fee, parking fees etc. The parking fee of $45/nt to park on public land was enough by itself to make use of GA for transportation impractical. Best option is to avoid California, esp Southern Cal and book your flight from a different state. Also suspect is the absence of reviews for neighboring airports. Fuel prices are avail, but fees and reports of service quality have been purged. The lack of affordability, transparency of fees and charges, and for public infrastructure results in denial of service via financial penalty, and while legal, still amounts to corruption.

Angel parked me and got me on my way in a hurry, great service. $10 ramp fee for a RV-8 when purchasing 10 gallons of gas. Easy access to LAX with out the hassles.

Hands down the best service I have received in a LONG time. Yanira and Katrina were AMAZING! They were welcoming & super attentive to our needs. The line guys (Angel, Noah, Joseph & Moe) were also GREAT & efficient! They fueled me real quick and had me out in no time. Awesome work JCLA Keep it Up! I will definitely be returning to your FBO & I will definitely be recommending you to my friends!

Everyone here is super nice, the line techs are awesome and have helped me unload my small single, and given me a ride to my car down the street. At the desk, Katrina has been absolutely amazing. She is always super friendly, and one day when I called the ground frequency asked "is this ?!" When I called up on ground — it felt like very personal and attentive service. The prices are a bit high but that feels like the way the wind is blowing in general unfortunately.

The Jet Center LA at Hawthorne provides exceptional service every time I have the pleasure to visit Los Angeles area. Julio, Joseph, Leo, Chris and others take great care to make sure everything is sorted on the ramp and have my ICON A5 fueled and ready to go in no time. Elizabeth at the front desk has been a fantastic resource for coordinating plane storage, fuel orders, amongst other logistics. Eureka restaurant, connected to the Jet Center, makes for a great place to get food & drink as well.
